Lindros is going to announce his retirement Thursday which for me is the end of an era. I started to like the Flyers because of Lindros. He obviously has his critics for things that happened off of the ice but he was one of the most dominant players in the game at his peak. I wish he could have stayed healthy and played his style of game his whole career. For me there was not much better than seeing him power through guys trying to stop him in the offensive zone.

I am glad that he could leave on his own terms and wasn't carried off on a stretcher or told he could not play due to post concussion syndrome. He is not going to have much of a send off but there are much worse ways to have your career finish.

Lindross was a good player, too bad for the concusions. He was once a dominate player in the leauge.

Amazed he ever got a contract after the lockout...won't be missed at this point.

I don't see how it was a surprise for a guy to get a contract based on incentives, a season after he had almost a point per game.
