Loungo ties Vanbeisbrouck

With Loungo's and the Panther's win tonight against the Lightning.  Loungo has tied the club record for wins w/ the Panthers held by John Vanbeisbrouck.

Hopefully Loungo will pass Vanbeesbrook Monday when the Cats face the Lightning monday night in Tampa.

The Panthers need to steal two more points Monday, too.

John

I think if Luongo re-signs with the Panthers long term (which doesnt look like its going to happen), it'll be decades before anyone gets close to him from the Panthers goaltending

You don't think he will re-sign long term? Why not?

RE: Loungo ties Vanbeisbrouck

Like I mentioned in another post.  I think Loungo will be here next year.  I think his very happy with the direction the team is going.  I think he really likes living here in So Fla.  His wife Gina propably wants to stay here, HA!  She is from Miami & HOT!!

On the games they are saying he will most likely stay.  Roberto is not going to talk until the season is done.

I think Bergeron just hasn't noticed how the Panthers are a team that is just now coming together. They have a lot of young players. If we didn't have the disruption of hurricane Wilma at the start of the season, I think the cats would have had a more solid start. The hurricane had everything all messed up here for 2-3 weeks. Even with the team playing on the road they head isn't all there. They are wondering how things are going back home.

They are on a mission right now-- Can you say PLAYOFFS!!
