Luongo???

It is still a mystery where he will play next season. I was thinking he would stay in Florida. Now I see him showing up on Detroits radar. His picture has been in the Detroit Free Press a few times in the last few days.

I guess time will tell.

RE: Luongo???

He will stay if they pay him well. A hockey player plays until the age 35, maximum 40 (in general), so he should try to make as much money as he can during his working age...and when you deserve it, you should get it...so even if Luongo likes it in Florida, he will probably only stay if they give him the highest or close to the highest offer he gets from all the other teams. Same story for Charra.

RE:  Luongo???

If Luongo demands alot of money he should (for Florida's sake) get traded for a good goalie and cap space.

Florida should try hard to compete next year, because you can't rebuild for 10 years.

RE: Luongo???

If Luongo decides Florida isn't the place for him (which is not that likely since he's happy they kept Jokinen), Detroit would be a good fit. We could offer Datsyuk and Howard and then work a deal around those two guys.

RE: Luongo???

Me too I don't think he will leave the Panthers. If he change of team, it would probably be with a team from the west!
