RE: MAJOR TRADE
"Luongo said he had reached a tentative four-year deal with the Panthers -- he wouldn't say for how much money -- hinged on three conditions.
He wanted the team to make a public statement they would not trade him, Florida would hire Francois Allaire as his goaltender coach, and the Panthers would sign goaltender Jamie McLennan as his backup." Read somewhere that he liked Ian Clark and the canucks could sign McLennan since Noronen wants a chance to be a number 1 goalie which he won't get in Vancouver with Luongo. Check out this video it's pretty funny.

"I think I'm excited because Vancouver is a great hockey city and they have a great team"
"Luongo said its too early to say if he can reach a long-term deal in Vancouver" To be honest i would be suprised if he did right away. I'm more hoping for a 3 year deal

RE: MAJOR TRADE
No, and NOronen too. Noronen said that he wants to be a #1. Now, they have one #1 goaler and two #2 that want to be #1. Canucks should trade one one these two goalers.

RE: MAJOR TRADE
That first video was pretty funny.
It is disappointing that the Panthers couldn't hold onto Loungo. I think he is truley disappointed too. I think he would have preffered to stay in Florida.
Now both my teams don't have goalies. Should be interesting!

RE: MAJOR TRADE
Hey man, Nonis hasn't made one bad move since he took charge in Vancouver. Carney, Noronen, Weinrich, now Luongo. I think he's brilliant, he deserves more credit for his work.

RE: MAJOR TRADE
the only move i didint like (in the long run) was Weinrich, he ended up being a bust and scratched most games

RE: MAJOR TRADE
Yea, I agree. But when the deal was made, he had intentions that Weinrich could fit well in Vancouver. Turns out he never, but meh, didn't hurt too much.
