RE: MAJOR TRADE
Tell me about it! I near did backflips when I saw it! This guy can certainly give us those few points that kept us outta the playoffs this year! I knew Bert was going, I'm just glad to see we got some quality for him, and Allen's a good young defenseman, but in exchange for Krajeck, we're not losing much. Sucks that they gave up Auld, I like that kid, but nonetheless we've got an awsome one two punch with Luongo and Cloutier, or hell, even some trade bait with Danny Excellent trade. See you in the finals Ward

RE: MAJOR TRADE
Personally, I think it's a solid trade for both side. It's not a Roberto Luongo for Todd Bertuzzi trade at all. Bryan Allen is a solid defenseman who's able to throw is body around and Alex Auld have shown he can be a #1 goaltender in this league.
But if Luongo resign with Vancouver ... I would say they're clear winner!

RE: MAJOR TRADE
The Panthers have confirmed that they acquired Todd Bertuzzi, Bryan Allen and Alexander Auld from the Canucks in exchange for Roberto Luongo and Lukas Krajicek and a 2006 sixth round pick.
Haha, that's what the thread's about man... lol.
And yea, I really hope that the Nucks can get Luongo involved in a long term deal. Would definatly solidify the trade in favor of them.

RE: MAJOR TRADE
Great trade for both teams. I think Vancouver will benefit most from this deal of course, but it wasn't a terrible move by the Panthers either. Glad to see that this is done with now and we can stop wondering what'll happen.

RE: MAJOR TRADE
I think Florida would've had a better deal if they went with LA (Garon, Frolov, Brown). Bertuzzi can leave as a UFA after this season, too. Plus, he has no loyalty to the team to remain. I think Bert might be gone and leave Florida with nothing. Luongo, on the other hand, will show loyalty to winning. If Vancouver puts up the effort to win, then Luongo will resign and win big in this trade.
