Mark Messier

Anyone know exactly the story behind Mark and the '94 cup. I'm doing it for my English summative .. but I'm not sure what happened.

Is this right ..

Game 7, he guarentees a win in the newspaper and then scores 3 goals.

What was the final score ?

When did this happen, dates.

EDIT: Im gonna rephrase that.

The morning of May 25, 1994 Mark Messier guarenteed a victory to advace the series to 7 games. The Rangers won 4-1 and went on to play Game 7 and win 2-1.

Then they went on to play Vancouver and win it in 7
