Marleau on the move?

http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/rumors/post/...=nhl,32090

Quote:
Might the San Jose Sharks move center Patrick Marleau for a puck-moving defenseman? There's talk the Sharks could sign a No. 2 center as a free agent, then trade Marleau for a blueliner like Brent Seabrook or Mattias Ohlund.

Elsewhere: How long can Martin Brodeur continue to carry the load for the New Jersey Devils? The netminder is 36 and has averaged 75 games over the past eight seasons. It might be time for New Jersey to grab a legitimate backup like Kevin Weekes or Mathieu Garon.

With Henrik Lundqvist firmly established as a No. 1, there's a chance the New York Rangers could trade goalie prospect Al Montoya, perhaps to Phoenix for the third overall pick in the draft?

I don't think the Sharks will deal away their captain. If they can move Nabakov's big salary in the offseason and sign Rafalski or trade Toskala for a good, young, cheap defenseman then they should be fine.
