Mitchell may interest Devils

Newark Star-Ledger: " Out of a playoff spot at this point, Wild general manager Doug Risebrough may deal several players. Among those reportedly available are defensemen Willie Mitchell and Filip Kuba. Mitchell, who can become an unrestricted free agent after this season, would be of great interest to the Devils, who drafted him 199th overall in 1996."

They might have to givie up a prize prospect like defenseman LADISLAV SMID or winger BOBBY RYAN. I am not sure how helpful this will be for long term plans.

What do Wild fans think about it?

Kuba is slightly under-rated player, IMHO. There were rumours also surroundig Fernandez...
