Which player in the NHL do you hate the most and why?


For me it's Sean Avery, hands down. He's a little runt who goes around starting fights and then runs away and lets his teammates take the beating for him and he is constantly saying stupid, stupid things to the media.


Runner ups are:

- Jarkko Ruutu because of the constant cheap shots he throws and his refusal to stand up for what he's done and fight.
- Dwayne Roloson because he can't go an entire game without taking a flagrant dive or mysteriously knocking the net off its' moorings or having his helmet come off.

Bryan Marchment. I don't think I need to explain this one.

Yeah, I hear you. Fortunately I haven't had a lot of experience in The Ducks playing against Marchment because he seemed to always be on Eastern Conference teams.

I know he's on The Stars now, but he's usually a healthy scratch.


Oh yeah, I'm not a big fan of Todd Bertuzzi either, also for obvious reasons.

Any particular reason?

I have to agree on Sean Avery and Dwayne Roloson. As a Duck fan, I'm adding Paul Kariya's name to this list.

I don't hate Paul Kariya like most Ducks fans do. I'm not necessarily his biggest fan anymore, but I don't hate him. He did a lot for the organization and he scored one of the best goals in all of Ducks history. I'm refering to the one where he had gotten knocked unconscious by Scott Stevens only to come back a couple minutes later and blast the puck past Martin Brodeur. I still get shivers up my spine whenever I see that goal.
