Our Mens league is gearing up for another season. It so exciting!

We had a scrimage/evaluation game last night. They do this in an attempt to make sure players are at the right skill level and teams are balanced.

It was great to be back with the league players after a 5 or 6 weeks off. I have still been playing a couple times a week in pick up games.

Anyway the night started off with this funny story:

Last night there were two girls in changing with us. One of the new guys walked in and the one girl was standing there.

The guy said, “How are we going to do this?”

She answered, “Do what?”

He said “How am I going to get dressed with you two in here?”

She answered “I don’t know how are you going to do it?”

I thought that was the funniest thing. I think she told him.


I guess its worth mentioning this girl is smokin hot!! Shes a petite little Finnish :fi: girl. (typical fin w/ blonde hair & blue eyes)

I feel like I played awesome. I have always played on the offensive end before. Last night I played defense all night. I had my way with many players last night. I am sure that pissed them off. I even managed a goal playing defense. I am so stoked for the season to start next week.

But seriously, Wednesday nights feel soo weird now without hockey. I should have joined 3 on 3.

Wingsfan that sounds pretty sweet. What are the age limits in your mens league? I've been thinking of getting into it but I've never played on ice before, only inline. I can skate pretty well on ice though, just never played hockey on it. Would you reccomend joining a mens league or should I just stick to playing inline?

I think for our league you have to be over 18. It is really not a mens only league. We have a handful of girls playing too.

I would say just join a beginners league you will have fun. The beginners leagues aren't real serious. People will forgive your mistakes. When I started I really stunk. Now I am one of our best defensemen.
