NHL 07 demo set to skate on 360?

For the Hockey gamers, you can now play a demo version of EA NHL07...at least that what it's saying below...

Electronic Arts' official blog for the game says the playable trial version of its pucks game is already up on the Marketplace; Marketplace disagrees.

It's like a game of "He said, she said," only "he" is Electronic Arts' official Web site for NHL 07, and "she" is all evidence to the contrary. The official site was updated Monday with the following note:
NHL 07 is right around the corner but why wait? The Xbox 360 playable demo is live on the 360 Marketplace now! Fire up your Xbox 360 and download the NHL 07 demo before it's available in stores.

The only catch is that the demo wasn't up on the Marketplace as of press time.

This is not the first time the Xbox Live Marketplace wires have been crossed. In late June, when a demo for the 360 shooter Prey was late in arriving, Xbox Live director of programming Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb wrote on his blog that he cringes when developers or publishers promise to have Marketplace content available by a certain date.

"[G]etting a game through the certification process is very complex," Hryb said, "and often those promising the content by a certain date are not fully aware of all the pieces involved in bringing content to the Marketplace…and then when the content does not appear, well you know what happens."

Just a message to 360 Owners. The NHL 07 demo was released today. At this moment I am downloading it. Its a shootout mode featuring the Edmonton Oilers and Carolina Hurricanes. Ill post my opinions on the game later.

RE: NHL 07 demo set to skate on 360?

This is a message for everyone thinking of getting this game:GET IT!
This is a message for People thinking of getting NHL 2k7: GET EA!

The shootout demo was short and sweet. 3 shooters per team, 2 teams. Overtime shots were included. The gameplay I felt was really good, it didnt show that much because it was only a shootout but whenever i shot the puck I got a rush of energy.

The New Controls are hard to get used to. Now you only use the two anolog sticks to move the players. I caught myself going for the buttons to shoot a few times. I think though that EA did an awesome job with the anolog sticks shooting, but it will take a little time to get used to.

The graphics were simply amazing! And my TV is around 7 years old and the graphics were still amazing! The players were made down to every last detail. When you saw their faces on the ice I knew who they were before I saw the back of his jersey.

The goalie movements were awesome. If the puck had gotten away from them they would reach out for it, not always being succesful though. The EA team also improved by far on their goaile saves. Very nice animations.

The games sound was also amazing. The whole demo was amazing.

The full NHL 07 game ships the 12th and hits stores the 14th. I hope all NHL Fans with 360s go out and purchase this game!

The game also will come out on these platforms, but the only the 360 will be like what I discussed

PSP
PS2
Xbox
PC-DVD
