Well
In my opinion Malkin would look awesome on the front cover of 09!
But I have always wanted to see Luoie on the front of an NHL game.

I cant remember the last time a defenseman was the cover of NHL EA sports. So, I could see it being Dion Phaneuf, or Nik Lidstrom.
But then again Evengi Malkin had a great season.

I'd want to say Malkin, Iginla, or whoever wins the Conn Smythe. I think Ovechkin was the cover boy for the ESPN NHL 2k8 or 2k7 game, so I don't think he'll be on this cover for at least another year (so there is no confusion between the two games).
