that's really interesting. i wouldn't be surprised if this is the shortest or one of the shortest lengths a GM held his job for in the nhl history. i guess we'll have to wait and find out more details.

maybe the problem lies with wang and not the rest of the staff. sure, there will be differences, but why would someone want to fire someone else or have someone quit because of them? i think it was irresponsibility on wang's part - i think he's the problem to this whole mess. hopefully someone will realize that and let wang go. who wouldn't want scouts? i think he's just being unreasonable and doesn't want to get players who could help the islanders down the road. i don't think anybody would want to play for the islanders if they knew this was going on.
