I created this subforum so that we can all discuss deals that we think are possible between teams. They don't have to be rumors. So this is the place to propose trades and signings, and see what others think of them. Try to be as logical as possible. The best way to do that is to put yourself in the position of both GMs, and in the position of the players that are in the trade or about to sign a new contract. Use your imagination and logic at the same time! Let's the fun begin!

i highly doubt it. carolina doesn't need those guys for a star like Cole.

Bryz would be a sturdy 1-2 with Kolzig, plus Kolzig will probably be retiring within three years, Mark Mitera would be a good young D to have, for years to come. So they solve their soon to come goalie problem, and Mark Mitera will most likely be a 1-2 D some day, if not, 3-4 for sure.

Brent Johnson is a good back up for any team, capable of playing 20-30 games a season, plus giving up Bryz for Johnson wouldn't be great, so let's through in young D man, Shaone Morrison, big upside. So Bryz wants out if he can get more games per season, he's gone, they get a good back up, in exchange, and an already proven top 4 young D man.
