To the penalty box that is.

I got a penalty in tonights hockey game for roughing. It was the first time I have ever got called for a penalty. I like to play hard but usually play very clean.

I was leaning on a guy in front of our net. He turned around and punched me in the face/helmet. So I shoved and we both got called for roughing.

I should mention this same guy cross checked me into the boards earlier on the same shift.  So when we skated back up the ice I hit him away from the play.  I guess maybe that is why he felt the need to punch me.

Oh well... We won 8-3. I had two assists and was a +3 for the night so I am happy.  I am a +5 for the season so far (4 games).  We are now 3-1.

No fighting is not allowed. We have a one punch rule. The first punch will usually result in a suspension.

We are not even really allowed to check. That is why I was mad to begin with when I wash cross checked from behind into the boards.

I haven't got any pictures lately. There are some from the last few seasons on my myspace though.
