RE: Oilers in a new season...

Hemsky is one of those guys that just has good hands. He can stick handle the puck and out deke so many players. The problem with him is that he never shoots the damn puck. He is so wanting to pass instead of just shoot. However, the last couple of games he did take more shots at the net than he normally does, which is a good thing.

He sure is making the most of Sykora on his line though. Sykora had another 2 goal night tonight because of Hemsky and his passing ability.

They got their asses handed to them last night. Colorado played a very good game and Edmonton just didn't show up. It was like watching a peewee team try to play. They were literally "all over the ice". Not pretty at all.

Better luck Saturday against the Blue Jackets.

RE: Oilers in a new season...

Well the BJ game sure blew...ha ha get it? Now we have to face the Canucks tonight and now we are missing Smyth. No Hemsky. Still no Moreau. The D is starting to really suck and Roli has had to be pulled 2 games in a row. Not looking good, but the Oil has persevered through much worse. Here's to not going 4 (losses) in row!!!

Oilers win 4-0. Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
