Over here in the uk we have all seen and heard about crosby and Ive watched a few games with him in and have been more than impressed with his style and passion for the game. But the buzz around our ice rinks has all been focused on the washington capitals signing of Ovechkin! He seems to be equally impressive and i thought it would be interesting to see what you folks on the other side of the pond think about who is the better all rounder?

Ovechkin has been really impressive. I believe he just hit the forty goal mark as a rookie just a few days ago. This kid is playing his heart out and has probably already proved himself to be the rookie of the year, even though Crosby has been no stiff.

Its hard to find someone so mature and confident coupled with talent at that age. Washington should be thanking the stars they got this kid to center their franchise around.

Around here it's mostly about Crosby, I have been hearing about Ovechkin too though. I think it will go to Crosby though because he seems to be causing more hype.
