Well I hope this isn't how the regular season is going to go.

I got to watch the Cats play the Wings last night. It was great because the Panthers pre-season have been broadcast by the other teams TV crews. So last night I got watch Mickey call the game.

The Cats came on strong early getting two by Dom at the start of the game. The Cats out played the Wings bad in the first. That would be all they would do though. The Wings shut them down in the second. The Cats did have a single shot on goal in the second compared to the Wings 17 & 3 goals.

The Cats played a little better in the third but where still being out played by the Wings. At the end Lang put a empty netter in for the Wings to make 4-2.

Belfour looked strong at times. I am not sure how many penalties the Cats had but it seemed like they played a good part of the game short handed.
