i think this is good for the Devils Parise is an amazing player

Quote:
Parise led all Devils last season with 31 goals, also a career high. He set career marks in assists (31), and points (62) while playing in all 82 games of the 2006-07 campaign, his second in the NHL.

Yeah, this made my day when I read this. That means that idiot Lowe couldn't send him an offer sheet.

Definitely good move by the Devils to keep him considering they are losing a lot of UFA players and another GM might get an idea from Lowe.

They only lost two worth keeping in Rafalski and Gomez. The only thing is now they have to sign Martin. They've added some people that I wasn't expecting (as is customary with Lou) and I trust he knows what he's doing. Sutter was a brilliant move, though!
