Penguins stop Esposito's Fall
Angelo Esposito, who was the consensus #1 draft pick last year, just fell to #20 overall and was taken by the Pens. I guess Pittsburgh lands another top notch talent for an already loaded offense. I'm just kind of surprised he'd fall this far since I heard rumors that he was still a top 10-15 talent. Do you guys think he'll prove the doubters wrong and do well in the NHL or did his hockey career peak last year as a 17 year old?

RE: Penguins stop Esposito's Fall
I think he will end up coming to the NHL in a year or two, and getting the rookie of the year award, even over Turris, Kane, or any of them, and everyone who had picks one through nineteen will be kicking themselves. Big steal by the Pens i'd say.

RE: Penguins stop Esposito's Fall
I agree with mrlandandsee101. I can see Esposito in the league within a couple years and doing very well. It's going to interesting to see how he does once he gets into the league - I bet he does well and lives up to why he is a good player.
