RE: Perreault to Chicago

I think its a decent deal, but I don't think Perreault does much of anything else besides win faceoffs. If this is the big move that Chicago wanted to make at center, then they are in for a rough year. With Briere and possibly Gomez off the market, Chicago looks like they're not planning on improving anytime soon.

RE: Perreault to Chicago

Well I dont think that this is Chicago's big move this year. I can see Chicago signing a big name player (I.E. Drury? if he wants to come there) maybe Bill Guerin? But i dont think this is the Black hawks big signing. I also think that Chicago is building for the future so I can see them signing a younger player for a long contract.

RE: Perreault to Chicago

maybe they'll get Vanek on an offer sheet? Then again, maybe they shouldn't do that since Buffalo will probably end up not matching it and getting like 3 or 4 1st rd picks as compensation and they'll all be top 10 picks Smile

RE: Perreault to Chicago

Yeah. I cant see Chicago offering Vanek an offer sheet becuase I cant see expecially Chicago giving up there 1st round picks. They only way I see Chicago getting Vanek is if they offer him in the range of 2million - 2.9 million so It will only cost them one first round pick. But I wonder what team will offer Vanek the offer sheet.
