RE: Peter Bondra
well if bondra is picked up, like leetch, he will be picked up for a mill tops! and even at this stage... that seems unlikey. bondra can still perform, but not as he once was.

RE: Peter Bondra
How does anybody know if Bondra can still perform? Wouldn't it be up to the team he was playing for or the line he is on. Sure Bondra can still play, but what if a team signs him and he becomes a bust. But I agree with everyone else when they say if you can get him cheap go for it.

RE: Peter Bondra
He'd probably be signed to a cheap contract with performance bonuses similar to those of other risky players like Hasek and Belfour.

RE: Peter Bondra
I wouldn't write Bondra off just yet. People did the same for Teemu Selanne and look how well he played last season.

RE: Peter Bondra
Good point, but Selanne is a totally different player than Bondra.

RE: Peter Bondra
Plus the fact the Selanne was 4 or 5 years younger when people had written him off than Bondra is right now.

RE: Peter Bondra
Bondra is almost 39. Not too old for some players but there aren't too many that rely on speed that can keep going at that age.
