RE: Peter Bondra

I'd have to say Bondra has more than one season left in him. i think he'd do ok on special teams.

RE: Peter Bondra

Bondra's been out for so long, it isn't how much longer he can play, but how quickly he can get back on top of his game.

RE: Peter Bondra

Bondra was a great player, but he's far past his prime, and won't make enough of an impact to change a team's record at this point in his career.

RE: Peter Bondra

You guys do realize Bondra played last year, right? He still has the wheels and he's been practicing this year so he's in good enough shape.

RE: Peter Bondra

If Bondra really expects to get 3 mil he may as well pack up his equipment. He did play last year but he had 39 pts in 60 games. He would be lucky to get a $3mil for 3 years.

RE: Peter Bondra

Who'd he play for last season? Atlanta?

yeah he played with atlanta in 60 games. and as i said before had he played this season it would have been a good season and would have gotten his 500 goals... but this would have been his last absolutely!

and so has brian leetch, who still would have had 1 more season in him, but he is still yet to be signed.

but i guess the main reasons why both of these guys havent signed is because of their age and asking price! had they been in the same situation 5 years ago they would have been signed to 2-3 year deals easily for the money they wanted!

RE: Peter Bondra

I think Bondra can still contribute. He's old, but he has some great hands, and could do very well on a line with some good passers.
