Pics Bruins vs Habs April 13, 2008

Here are some shots I took yesterday night. We finally got great seats asyou can tell from the proximity of the pictures.

Enjoy!

Those are REALLY great seats! I liked the shot where all the players are in a pile on top of each other behind the net. Were you able to feel the vibrations/crunch of bodychecks along the boards from where you were sitting? Thats one of my favorite experiences while attending hockey games (I usually get seats in the first 5 rows for college hockey games).

I actually loved the bodychecks vibrations that you are talking about. It's my first time being that close to the ice, so it's was a really special experience. It took my friend (a girl) sometime to get convinced that we are not risking our lives by being so close to the glass Smile

If anything, tell her that you'll be safer near that boards. This way, flying pucks can't fly over the boards and hit you because you'll be under/in front of the boards!

Right!!! I actually told her that story, but she was then concerned by the glass breaking and flying all over us! The glass in front of us had some real damage from previous games, so I had to add "even if it breaks, it's more like plastic shattering rather than real glass breaking in small pieces like car accidents" (i think it's called plexiglass). After that point, she wasn't worried anymore, so I think my arguments kind of worked Smile

wow gsa, those are great photo's. those seats are amazing, you must have paid a fortune for them.

Did you get harrassed with being a canadians fan, and boston winning? Are you going to game 4?

Hi Canucks, in Boston, tickets are cheaper than Montreal. I got mines for a reasonable price (~$150/each) though stubhub. I think I would have paid $500 or more if it was in the Bell Center. It was really nice to be that close to the ice (first time for me), but at the same time, being far gives you a better angle for both sides of the rink.

$150 for those seats in the playoffs, that is amazing.
When I sit down close to the ice I prefer to sit behind the net, that way you can see the whole ice and plays develop better than along the sides.
Too bad the Habs lost but this will make the series more exciting.
