Pro Stock Sticks

Anybody ever get their hands on some Pro Stock sticks? I just stumbled upon a site that sells some and I ordered a RBK 7K SicKick....seemed like a decent price. I'm just curious how fragile these sticks really are.

Heres the site if you want to check it out: http://www.proreturnhockey.com/index.php

RE: Pro Stock Sticks

Yes, i have bought a few, and as a AAA player my pro return Rbk 7K (not the sick kick) cracked right down the middle of the blade a few games later. I saw the irregular weave in the blade material and i didnt think anything of it. I just purchased a forsberg stealth return for 180$ and i see the same pattern as before. Hopefully it holds up.

I have also heard a few stories here and there about the "overpainting" of sticks. So lets say an Nhl player really likes an easton stick, but is sponsered by warrior. What they will do is get the easton stick made to their specs, and get warrior style paint on it. How true this is, i am not certain but it is very intriguing.
If anyone has any experiences or feed back about their usage with a pro stock, i would love to hear it. Thanks

RE: Pro Stock Sticks

I have never gotten any prostock sticks, but I have bought the 7k SicKick a few times and its prolly my favorite stick I have ever used. I actually tried to break this stick and it wouldnt. But anyway, there is another site that sells prostock sticks, Im sure most of you have been on here before b/c its a pretty popular hockey company.

I think they have a lot more selection than that other one.
