QNHL PREDICT THE SCORE CONTEST

Hello QNHLers! I am very pleased to announce to you our newest contest that will run all season long. QNHL as of October 4th will have a Predict the Score contest. The first game slotted for all member predictions will be an Eastern Conference Final rematch against the Carolina Hurricanes and the Buffalo Sabers.

The rules are simple for this new QNHL contest. You predict the score of the selected game in the Prediction Forums. Once the game starts you cannot predict the scores anymore. You only have 1 chance to post a score, no changing or editing. If you edit a prediction post your prediction will not be counted.

Predicting the right score: 3 points
Predicting the right team to win: 1 point
Predicting two goal scorers (1 from each team): 2 point if both right, 1 if only one. (only can pick 1 player)

The prizes are still to be determined, but there will be one at the end of the NHL regular season for the point leader and possibly a prize at the halfway mark in the season.

Also just because this is new you will have to sign up each week for the prediction contest. We hope to get rid of this rule as soon as possible; it will only be in affect until we have the contest running smoothly.
