Rangers sign Matt Cullen
New York - The New York Rangers have signed restricted free agent defenseman Karel Rachunek and centre Matt Cullen.
Cullen, 29, enjoyed a career season with Carolina, scoring 49 points in 78 games during the regular season, then following it up with 18 points in 25 games during the Hurricanes' Stanley Cup run.
A strong skater with good size (6-foot-2, 218 pounds), Cullen has scored 280 points in 591 career NHL games with the Ducks, Panthers and Hurricanes.
Cullen's deal is for four years and $11.2-million.

good signing, a bit suprised he didint say with the team he just won the cup with, but none the less a solid signing for the rangers, cullen is a great 2nd/3rd line center

That is a great signing for the Ranger, I think they have one of the best young group of energitic, speedy, and hard hitting 3rd and 4th lines.
Cullen - Hollweg - Orr - Ortmeyer - Bettes - Moore
and fit in to the system great.
