I am a huge sens fan and I THink that Redden needed to come back, but i'm afriad they payed him to much.

Even thought i think he is worth it, with these numbers, i don't think that ottawa can afford Chara as well. I had players being so greedy.
Unless ottawa is making cuts in other ways, it will be hard to get Chara.

I've read that they stopped talking to Chara and are looking to replace him with Jovo, I don;t know if i like this. Both are great but, I don;t know if ottawa can afford either.

Getting Redden for 6.5 million a year, means the end of Chara.

Ottawa can't afford Chara at 7 mil, if Redden gets 6.5

Ottawa needs to sign/trade a goalie and also needs to look ahead to next year when I believe Spezza (correct me if I'm wrong) contract comes up. He had 1 less point then Richards this year and Richards signed a huge deal.

no suprise here, redden is a elite defenceman, and i would of picked him over chara anyday, redden is the full package, offence, defence, strong on the puck, glad to see him staying a sen (tho i would of prefered him a canuck)
