Rough Night at the Office

Well it's not like I expected the Panthers to win last night. I knew Atlanta is a strong team and they had beat Florida Saturday night in Atlanta.

I was hoping the Panthers would keep the home winning streak alive. They jumped out to a two goal lead in the first. Then the Thrashers scored 5 unawnswered goals. Alex Auld was pulled from the game and replaced by Belfour. The final score ended up being 6-3.

The Panthers had 5 power play chances and never scored on one. That dropped them out of leading the league on the Powerplay. Looking at their stats they aren't playing that great.

I hope Bertuzzi can get back to the team soon and hopefully the Cats can find some momentum and starting playing better.
