Sabres re-sign Ryan Miller
Buffalo Sabres re-sign starting goalie Ryan Miller to 3-year deal
BUFFALO, N.Y. (CP) -The Buffalo Sabres re-signed Ryan Miller to a three-year deal Friday, ensuring that their No. 1 goalie won't miss the start of training camp next week.
The 26-year-old Miller was 30-14-3 with a 2.60 goals-against average in 48 regular season games as a rookie last season. Despite missing 18 games with a fractured thumb, he finished among the top 10 in wins, GAA and save percentage. Miller's 30 wins tied him with Henrik Lundqvist for most among rookie netminders, and were the second-most by a rookie in Sabres history behind Don Edwards' 38 in 1977-78.
Miller backstopped Buffalo to within one game of the Stanley Cup finals, posting a record of 11-7 with a 2.56 GAA and .908 save percentage in the playoffs.

RE: Sabres re-sign Ryan Miller
Great signing, I would have liked a longer contract but three is fine. cheap too considering the year he had.

RE: Sabres re-sign Ryan Miller
Ryan Miller had a great season last year... he completed a really hard task in defeating the Sens. Its good to see he's back with the team he wanted to return with for a long term contract.
This insures that Biron won't be around for long in Buffalo.

Without Miller, The Sabres just wouldn't be the same.
It's funny though, His eyes aren't even, and I think he looks like an ape.

Ryan Miller might be the hockey player that looks least like a professional athlete in the NHL. Lets hope he has a solid year again and doesnt pull and Andrew Raycroft and take a nosedive after a solid year.
