wow, what a busy day for gainey, ill reserve my judgement on the signing untill i see how much money hes getting but as long as its a good price this is a exelent signing

Nice signing. Samsonov will look good with Kovalev, that's for sure. And it means us Leaf fans will have the opportunity to see him play more again, so that's a bonus in its own way I suppose... even though it will hurt us I'm sure.

i think it's good for the canadiens but for some reason i can't see him in a canadiens jersey. i guess i'm just used to seeing him in an edmonton oilers or boston bruins jersey.

I'm not sure I want to see him play with Ribeiro though... Unless Ribeiro plays like a god this year. I mean, Samsonov was very successful while playing with Joe Thornton in Boston and hasn't been such a great player in Edmonton. So please Ribeiro, make something happen Smile
