The day of the deadline the San Jose Sharks acquire Brian Campbell form Buffalo. Campbell was acquired on Tuesday along with a seventh round selection in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for right wing Steve Bernier and a first round selection in 2008. In my opinion this was a good move by the Sharks, they needed a good player on the blue line and someone who could bring a more physical face to the team.
“Brian’s a guy that gets the puck out of your zone quick,” said Wilson. “He’s a quarterback on the power play and he will complement our group really well.”

that was a great trade because buffalo got Bernier and he just scored two goals off the bat in his first game versus the Predators.
