RE: Sidney Crosby

I agree with skip he is a very good player for only being 19 years old but he needs to grow up everytime i saw a game he was whining to the refs. He has to learn to be mature.

RE: Sidney Crosby

i dont think crosby will grow up because he played with lemieux and leclair who are two players that are very well respected around then league and crosby goes out and whines about everything. he also picks battles he cant finish

i have to aggree with skip on this one, if hes not ready to play in a league of men with out whining and crying at every call then he shouldint be in the league yet... also iv seen many times, him get frustrated and throw out a dirty spear or slash witch is dangerious to other players on the ice.. so if he cant take all the pressure he shouldint be in the nhl yet... or at least not of takin that A on his jersey, that kind of stuff is not what a leader is supposed to do
I agree with skip too, I saw him play many times against the flyers, and he was constatnly diving and he was also always complaining to the ref, to take the next step as a player i think he needs to be more mature, and grow up a bit.

RE: Sidney Crosby

For the record Nucks I dont know when you thought you saw Crosby "diving" but thats not the case. When you have a guy thats not scared to drive to the net (so many are) occasionally he's going to end up on his wallet.

As far as him diving against Philly goes you do realize that he had Hatcher hanging on his back in all of those games right? I dont know about you but I think I might fall down a few times with a 6'5" 235lb. guy mugging me everytime I touched the puck.

With that being said I do agree with you guys that he does need to grow up a lot. He took a ton of penalties for complaining and thats just bad for the team. I also think that his complaining made him a target for the refs to set an example.

You all need to understand though that he's still really young and he was beat on a lot. He had to fend for himself because enforcers such as Roy and Cairins either A) never stuck up for him, B) never got any ice time. I'm pretty confident that he'll grow to be a great leader on this team. Just wait and see...

RE: Sidney Crosby

You know it's pretty dissapointing to come to a hockey forum and see people complaining and whining about one of hockeys brightest young stars. I respect and accept the opinion no doubt, but people seem to take their 'opinions' on it too far. They become offensive. The people here who whine and complain about Crosby are just as bad as they're making him out to be.

RE: Sidney Crosby

He is a terrific player and he will just grow more and more into a league superstar as the years past.

RE: Sidney Crosby

I'm sure the league is pretty happy with the way the points leaders are going. Crosby is first in the league after scoring 14 pts in his last 4 games which is right where league executives want him. Ovechkin is starting to score a little more now to after a slow start he has 13 pts in his last 6 games.
