RE: Simple Trivia Game
Right you are!
Next Question.
They should do the same thing at Michigan's Stadium. They could boast the record to 107,000.

RE: Simple Trivia Game
The first radio broadcast of an NHL game was from Foster Hewitt on Feb 16, 1923. He used a telephone to broadcast the game between Toronto Argonauts and the Kitchener Greenshirts.
He coined the phrase "he shoots, he scores!"
I think I am right so heres my next question.
The first NHL All-Star game was held as a benefit for what injured star?
John

Which player had his name mis-spelled when it was originally put on the Stanley Cup, but then had it corrected later?

RE: Simple Trivia Game
Pete Palangio of the blackhawks in 1937-1938. His name was written twice. The first one was ok, but the second times, the spelling was: --------->Palagio

RE: Simple Trivia Game
Actually, I was looking for Adam Deadmarsh (spelled Deadmarch on the cup originally), as he was the first player to have it corrected. My appologies, I should have been clearer about that. Anyway, you were correct in saying Pete Palangio was the first to have his name mis-spelled on the cup, so I'll give you that one .
