Something to Quack About...
Teemu Selanne has signed a 1 year, 1.5 million dollar deal with the Anahiem Ducks, returning just in time for the second half of the season. This move also leave Burke with around 5 million in cap room to make a deadline day move. Does this provide the Ducks roster with what it takes for a repeat?

RE: Something to Quack About...
I believe it does. Jeez...talk about a juggernaut!
Bertuzzi - Getzlaf - Perry
Kunitz - Weight - Selanne
Moen - Pahlsson - Niedermayer
Bochenski - Marchant - May
Niedermayer - Beauchemin
Pronger - O'Donnel
Schneider - Huskins
Giguere
Hiller
That's a scary line-up!

If u ask me,that 1st line i sok,it is normal to putt S-man in 2nd to see if he is still up to and to get him adapt, but i belive by the tlks that in saw in LA Times he could be soon in 1st line, but i wonder with who???
If u ask me 1st line would go;
Bertuzzi (playmaker,speed,goalscorer,skill)-Getzlaf (playmaker,skill,goalscorer)-Selanne (speed,skill,golascorer)....

Yeah, I agree. The Berutizzi - Getzlaf - Perry combo has been lighting up the opposition recently. There's no reason to split it up.

Thats one of the big reasons why Selanne would go to the 2nd line. Also, I thought Teemu has had good chemistry in the past with Kunitz, who was his linemate quite often the past two years, and Weight, who is a great setup man.

Yea, Selanne will stay 2nd line no doubt, he and Kunitz will pick up where they left off except this time without Andy MacDonald. How's Weight doing since he landed in Anahiem anyways? I haven't been following...

RE: Something to Quack About...
To be honest I'm kind of surprised that Carlyle isn't putting Kunitz with Selanne. The line combos have been:
Kunitz - Getzlaf - Perry
Bertuzzi - Weight - Selanne
Should be interesting to see if that stays consistent.
As far as Weight's play goes, he's played fine. Nothing spectacular, but then I don't think anybody expected him to come to Anaheim and all of the sudden play like a 25 year old.

RE: Something to Quack About...
Well technically it was 1.5 million, but that's pro-rated, so he only gets paid for the 4 months or so that he's going to pay, which comes out to about 600k.
