It's nice to see players taking it home to friends and family especially when they call home overseas in Europe or Russia. Personally, there doesn't seem to be too many European or Russian players on Stanley Cup winning teams but I think that might be changing a bit though.
You miss 100% of the shots you never take. – Wayne Gretzky
Great moments are born from great opportunity. - Herb Brooks
There are enough euros on cup winning teams, I think maybe what you're getting at is that there's never been a euro captain to win the cup. The canes had only 5 european players but they don't seem to be too big on them. Anyways, Vasicek won't win the cup next year. Frankie has the better chance of repeating.

If Vasicek with Nashville wont win the cup next year, Hurricanes wont win too What do you say about that Nice dream FINAL: Nashville - Carolina with happy end for Preds
To that I say you're greatly overrating Vasicek because he's from your country. I've watched him closely for several years now. He's not that good and he certainly isn't the type of impact player to get you to a cup.
