How do you prefer your sticks? Do you prefer an extra stiff shaft or a flexy one?

And, do you guys use shafts with replacable paddles? Or wooden sticks?

Just wondering what you guys play with.

I am goalie and only need a stick to play outdoors, so I just use a wooden one.

I would have to say a 1 piece with 70, 75 flex would be good for me though (Synergy of sorts)

But i would love to play with flexible stick.It would
be so awesome you can wack some one so bad with
a flexible stick.And it would be really fun to play with it

Im glad to hear you still play with a wodden stick, I hate seeing young kids in low level who get $200 sticks and will just out grow them next year, but there parents get it for them anyways.

I use a Cyclone. Yea I know I'm old school. I like stiffer sticks because I am a defenseman.

I don't play much ice hockey, but I rather a wooden stick because I don't shoot much, just park in front of the net, so just as well to half a stiff stick that won't break if wacked at.

I use a couple of sticks...My main one is a Bauer Vapor XXX senior 102 flex, and my to backups are a Bauer Vapor VI and a CCM Vector that was used by Alex Tanguay which is a Stiffy Flex....It all depends on what you prefer and are comfortable with.....I prefer Stiffy Flexes for a powerful shot.

QUESTION: Talking about hockey stick, can someone tell me why the hell they've made ONE PIECE goaltender hockey stick. I don't see any advantage? Can you?
