Theoren Fleury
Does anyone else think he should be in the HOF?
He had over a PPG for 1000 games...it's too bad his off-ice antics might hinder his on ice accomplishments...

RE: Theoren Fleury
Fleury... 50:50 chance he'll make it. I would say don't count on it.

RE: Theoren Fleury
he was defenitly a great talent while he was in the nhl, he has more points then games played, but i think his off ice antic's will keep him out.

RE: Theoren Fleury
Yes, a great player, but very HARD to coach. I think he's in the same case as Alexander Moginly!

RE: Theoren Fleury
As bad as he was off the ice, he was a great player, I think he should definately be inducted. (especially for that pissing hasek off thing in the olympics)

RE: Theoren Fleury
way too much baggage to go into the HOF. Great player, and he will be remember by those of us who watched him, but I don't think he'll be remembered by the HOF.

RE: Theoren Fleury
Off ice antics should (should.....) not have any bearing on it.
Fleury had an undieable influence on this sport.
He should be hall of fame. Hall of Infame maybe?
I do not think he will be. He is/was not what NHL big wigs want to glorify in the NHL.
The matter is moot. Fleury is (I beleive) still only about 36, and still not old enough to count out of the NHL. No player should be inducted into the HOF untill they are safely retired.

Unless their name is Mario Lemieux.

RE: Theoren Fleury
I looked up some Theo stats and apparently he has these records:
NHL record 3 short-handed goals in one game
NHL record highest plus/minus rating in one game, plus-9
Does anyone one know when those happened and what the game scores were?
