Tim Connolly

I don't know to much about Connolly other than he has trouble skating with his head up. On Buffalo Sports radio they are talking about him being the best forward on the team, so when he gets back they will be even more offensive. From his stats it looks like he has had a few average seasons one poor season and is really poor defensivley. Does anyone else know why they would be saying this on the radio?

RE: Tim Connolly

Yea he was really good last year getting 55 points i think in only 53 games due to injuries but this kid is a young player he was supposed to be on the verge of a breakout season this year until the concussion in the playoffs. He had a few disappointing years but was turning it around i hope he comes back and this Buffalo team should be even better because hes a great stickhandler and a nice offensive player he has been getting a lot better on defense he was great on the pk last year for Buffalo.

RE: Tim Connolly

Connolly brings a lot of creativity and speed to the team, and makes it really interesting to watch [it's already interesting, but he defintiely adds to it]. Hope to see him back soon..

I've heard he is practacing and may be back in a month or sometime in that range. My guess is they will sit Peters move Novotny down to the 4th line with Mair and Gaustad and have Connolly Drury and Kotalik.

RE: Tim Connolly

Good to hear that he will be back. Being a fan of Lindros I don't like anybody (besides Scott Stevens) missing time due to concussions. Also with him coming back it might screw up their chemistry a little which will be good for everyone else in the East.
