Top defensive forwards
Who's your favorites?
Mine would have to be PJ Axelsson or the Bruins. He's amazing on the PK and plays very smart. Been my favorite player ever since I got really into hockey.

RE: Top defensive forwards
I vote for Mike Fisher, he's a great player on both ends.

RE: Top defensive forwards
The best of the best, Roddy Brind'amour. Amazing two-way player. Another great underrated defensive forward is Justin Williams. Great penalty killer and he's got the speed and hands to burn you shorthanded.

His strength is high-sticking players on the other team.

RE: Top defensive forwards
That's nice that you think that. I could care less. You obviously know nothing about him if you think he's a dirty player. What led up to the Koivu injury happens all the time. He went to lift his stick and missed. Unfortunately the result was a lot more serious this time but believe me no one feels worse about it than him. If you think he goes around doing that all the time or if you think it was intentional then there's nothing I can say to change your opinion, you just don't know much about hockey. It was a terrible accident, that's all. Move on.

Where did I call him a dirty player? Just curious.

RE: Top defensive forwards
By suggesting that's his strength you're insinuating he's a dirty player. It was just an accident so there's no real reason to keep bringing it up months later and saying stupid stuff like high sticking people is his strength.

I never said he was a dirty player, but from watching him play on the flyers (I live in Pennslyvannia) he never seems to control his stick, He actually high-sticked another canadians player later in that series, I never he was a dirty player, I said he high-sticks people ALOT which he does, its because he doesn't control his stick at all.

RE: Top defensive forwards
I've followed him closely for a couple of years now and never has he had an issue with controlling his stick prior to the series against the habs. But you're entitled to your opinion.
