RE: Trades....

Toronto did well to get rid of those plugs and get 4 picks in return including a 2nd rounder. Seems strange to me that the Habs traded Huet away and did not bring in any big name players as has been rumoured. Montreal seems to miss out on these big name players a lot with Briere last summer and not getting Hossa this year after so much speculation. Looks like the asking price was a little too high for Montreal. Unless the Pens win the Cup this year which will be tough with their goaltending the Thrashers won this trade in my opinion. Basically 2 first rounders plus 2 guys that can play in this league for what could be a rental. The Pens can afford to part with picks and prospects since they have such a wealth of young guys, but they gave up a couple of pretty good players as well.
I'm happy with the Flyers getting Prospal. Didn't really give much up for him and he gives the team some much needed depth.
