Shy  RE: Trouble In Paradise?

Jokinen isn't going an where from what the Panthers say. (Is it all a lie??)

Here's an article I found on the Bleacher Report, dated January 31st, 2008:

Jokinen may be traded before the deadline

Cronox, I do agree Horton is not ready to step up as the captain of this team. He hasn't really given his heart to the game as of late. Though I will say he did pretty good last Friday when we played against Vancouver.

All we Panthers fans can do is pray & cross our fingers that Jokinen isn't traded.

RE: Trouble In Paradise?

From all the talk I am hearing I think Jolkinen is not really happy. It maybe more than just the Coach that is bothering him.

I nominate David Booth as the next captain. That guy has heart and really hussles.

RE: Trouble In Paradise?

I agree that trading Jokinen would be a horrible idea, probably as bad of an idea as trading away LuongoToungue, haha. At the same time, there is an awful lot of rumours on various sites saying that he "hates Martin" and he wants to be traded. So I could see them trading them, if perhaps they could get some good in return.
I don't really follow the Panthers that much, but how are the younger supposedly future superstars doing (Olesz, Horton, Weiss, Bouwmeester)? I thought I see Horton had a 30 goal season, and I've seen Bou playing at the all star game. I'd say a better idea would be to fire Martin, and possibly trade away some, still young and valueable commodities, for a couple of more proven players with heart.

Smile  RE: Trouble In Paradise?

Booth would make a great Team Captian! I really didn't even think about him as everyone keeps talking about Horton.

I agree get rid of Martin!

As for trading players not sure who they would trade and for who they might have their eyes out for...hmmm...got to think about that one.

Going to start begging now, on my knees, Sad please do not trade Jokinen...make the man happy so we the fans can stay happy!

I have a good feeling Jokinen is going to be traded, It's him, Sundin, and Tanguay most talked about... and haven't you noticed that their have been SO many scouts at the Panthers games lately? Anyways we're just gonna have to wait, and see.

RE: Trouble In Paradise?

I think Hossa is probably #1 on most teams lists. There is a good chance if you can work out a trade for Hossa that you can work out a contract with him before the trade goes through which will let you lock him up for a while.

RE: Trouble In Paradise?

Ummm, well no I haven't noticed the scouts at the games. Silly question, how would I know someone is a scout?

Waiting and praying...OH and learning that's what I am doing.
