RE: Wayne Gretzky
I personnally think that Wayne Gretzky deserves more credit than he has. He brought hockey to places like Los Angeles, and St Louis. He is THE example of greatness in sport. He brought hockey back from the dead in the 80's. He is the greatest now and he will be the greatest in 50 years.

RE: Wayne Gretzky
It's also worth pointing out that some people think that he might be the single greatest athlete in the history of civilization because simply nobody has dominated the game like he did. He won 10 straight MVP trophies. 10 straight!

Hes up there with Babe Ruth and the like. Those are the only two I can think of.

RE: Wayne Gretzky
You're right, I forgot about Michael Jordan....not much of a basketball fan.

Once again, you're right. Guess I just wasn't thinking.

RE: Wayne Gretzky
Michael Jordan was definately the Gretzky of basketball. I would say they done the same amount for their respective sports.

RE: Wayne Gretzky
Would you go out on a limb to say that Michael Jordan was also the Wayne Gretzky of baseball?
