Weinrich retires

After almost 20 years in the league he's hung up his skates to take a coaching job with Kevin Dineen and the Portland Pirates of the ahl.

Weinrich = gone... NOOO! i liked that kid! but after all this time in the league... it was prob the best move for him! and getting a coaching job so soon after retireing..? has he got a bit of the Garth Snow/Islanders fever?

The canucks sure did have a bad trade deadline. At least it looks terrible now. Look at the picks and players they lost and it was all for nothing.

Yea no doubt. at the trade deadline it looked pretty good 2 good d-man, 1 all right d-man and a good back-up goalie. But it didnt pay off they could of had better propects.
