Weiss and Mclean To Appear As Tellers At
100th BankAtlantic Store Opening On Saturday
BankAtlantic is celebrating 55 years in Florida
SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment (SSE) announced today that Florida Panthers forwards Stephen Weiss and Brett McLean will help BankAtlantic celebrate its 100th store opening Saturday when they sign autographs, pose for pictures and serve as celebrity bank tellers.
BankAtlantic, commemorating 55 years in Florida, will open their 100th store at 5995 West Oakland Park Boulevard in Lauderhill. Weiss and McLean will appear at the store between 2 p.m. and 4p.m. The appearance is part of the Panthers All-Access Program, which has put Cats players face-to-face with fans all year long.
“BankAtlantic is truly a community organization and we’re excited to be involved in the opening of their 100th store, as well as their 55 year celebration,” SSE President and Chief Operating Officer Michael Yormark said. “In addition, this is yet another opportunity for our fans to get up close and personal with our players prior to Opening Night.”
“These are two very special milestones for our company,” stated Jarett Levan, President and CEO of BankAtlantic. “As we celebrate 55 years in the business, we are proud of our home grown Florida roots, strong history and bright future.”
BankAtlantic was founded in 1952 with a single office in Fort Lauderdale. The bank has since grown to 26 stores in Broward County, 24 in Miami-Dade and 22 in Palm Beach County. Throughout its network of stores and internet banking division, BankAtlantic provides a full range of commercial and individual banking products and services
