2 year deal. Hope the leafs start to dump some of the old guys and switch to Young Guns. Thats what you need in the new NHL

Yes! Welwood looked very promising last year. He maybe small, but he can skate like the wind and is a very flashy player with the puck. He made some crazy moves last season, and was top 11 in rookie scoring, I believe.

Him and Steen looked A+ last season!

i don't think that's totally true. i think that the older players can definitely help out the younger ones and help them develop and play better in the nhl whether on or off the ice. i still think that there are some older players that have adapted well to the new nhl.

That's very true but they need to make room for the younger guys who are more effective at this point. You can only keep the older guys around for so long before they have to step aside and let the young guys do the work. There are guys who can mentor them but sometimes they need to play in less significant roles and that's not always what Toronto has done in the past.
