The leafs really want him but he is worth i think a little to much out of there range. but he would be a perfect fit.What do u think?

yeah i think he would be a good fit in toronto, but its not going to happen. last i heard, he wanted 3 million per year since he's comin off such a hot season, butthe leafs cant afford that. It is also tough to judge how he will play, a large part of his success the last year was because he played with the sedin twins, but it will be interesting to see where he ends up.

Carter is a great player, I hate how people say of he only did so well because of the Twins, well, he still got the points, and now GM's and teams know if you put him on a line with a swed or a player of that type he will put up points and is still a good physical force.

As per where he will end up it's hard to say, I think he is worth it at the asking price, but Gm's have to talk to coaches to see if they can work a line with him.
I've heard LA, Detriot, Wild, Ottawa, Atlanta, and the Blues are all talking to him.
I think he would do best in Ottawa, Atlanta, Wild or he would do well in Montreal i belive.

Carter would be a good fit with the leafs I think now. I used to be against the leafs 100% but know since Domi and Belfour and Quinn are gone I have a little more respect for the leafs. As long as they don't get Peca... (and ottawa does) i'll be happy.

Peca needs to be a leaf, it's for the greater good lol
