Where will Forseberg end up
Hey where do you all think Forseberg will end up at? I am thinking he will go back to the avs or he may go to the nucks to play one year with his friend Markus Naslund........whats your input?

RE: Where will Forseberg end up
the Habs need a second line center. He'd fit in with Samsonov and Kovalev I think.

RE: Where will Forseberg end up
I heard the Rangers, Habs and Senators were the top teams that could end up with him. I doubt he will waive his no trade clause to go to a western conference team. When he signed with Philly he said that he didn't want to go to a team in the west because he didn't want to have to play the Av's very much. He might not care much since it has been a few years since he played there now but you never know.
It would be crazy if the Sens got him but they would have to give up something decent to be able to pay Forsberg's salary.

Rumor in CA has the Ducks being interested in him. Burke may trade for him just so that San Jose or Nashville doesn't get him. Could you imagine a powerplay with Pronger, Niedermayer, Selanne, McDonald, and Forsberg? Wow!
"How would you know? When I played you were in your 3rd year of

RE: Where will Forseberg end up
TSN is reporting the Habs, Rangers, Wings and Av's as potential trading partners with the Flyers. It says that at least 12 teams have contacted the Flyers about Forsberg.
He is a big risk but I can see teams trying to get him just so they don't have to play against him in a playoff round. Keeping him from joining an opponent is just as important as having him on your team.

RE: Where will Forseberg end up
I would guess that the Ducks would offer up Bryzgalov which would be a mistake for the Flyers. Another goalie who has had 1 good season is not what the Flyers need.

RE: Where will Forseberg end up
Looks like they have about $2mill and Bryzgalov makes $1mil. Forsberg makes $5.75mil so that would be less than $2mil that a team will owe him from the trade deadline on. Looks like they could make something like that work.
I have no idea if Bryz. is a possible trade candidate, I haven't even heard anything about the Ducks being involved in Forsberg trade talks so this is all speculation.
