RE: Who makes the best sticks?
I like Easton. I haven't used the Synergy or any copy of the synergy. Just plain wood with the Yzerman curve. It is hard to find his curve sometimes, i assume it will dissapear soon with him retired so I'll have to find something else.

RE: Who makes the best sticks?
I have an Easton composite shaft. I hardly ever used. One night I was practicing slap shots and it broke.
I always use wood sticks when I play. I play defense and my sticks take a lot of abuse. I have been using the same wood stick for 3 seasons now. "Old Reliable"

RE: Who makes the best sticks?
I have used a lot of companies.
Recently I have used...
Easton - Synergy ST, and Stealth
Mission - Fuel
Nike Bauer - One 90
Warrior - Dolimite
As of yesterday, I broke them all. But I have to say I really liked the Warrior Dolimite (grip). I just broke it yesterday in the shaft, (I was taking a wrist shot, and putting the flex into it, and it got slashed and snapped.) Luckly this time, it is still under the 30 day warrenty.
I did not like the Easton Stealth at all. I found the handle to be really weird.
I liked the Bauer One 90 stick. But also remembering back, It did take me a while to get used to it. At first I kept mishandling puck, etc.
But my vote goes to Warrior. They are making a name for themselves now in hockey.
I'll also add in some prices. (In Canadian currency.)
WARRIOR
- Dolimite - $169 - $179
- Mac Daddy - $229 - 249
EASTON
- Synergy ST - $199
- Stealth - $199
BAUER
- One 90 - $249
