Who will be # 1
I guess it's still up in the air on who will be the starting netminder. Both goalies are having a good start so far, even though Aiebisher's wins/ losses stats are better than Huet's. Huet's GAA and save percentage is better. Julien have you heard anything. I just figured I'd ask you seeing how you're from Quebec.(Newspapers, radio, etc...)

RE: Who will be # 1
In my opinion Aebi is the better of the two right now but it's still way too close to call who the starter is. Only more time will tell.

I think time will give Huet the advantage. I think he's the more skilled goaltender, and when he gets back to game speed, he'll be the same guy Habs' fans loved last year.

I have to agree with you, its completely up in the air right now. I think Huet is better, but not as consistent

RE: Who will be # 1
That is all true but don't you think it's time to pick a starter and build up his confidence? I'm sure who ever they choose will be fine, IMO, I think the Habs have one of the better goalie tandems in the league.

I would have to say Abeshire. He is more established in the league and has had a better start to the season.

The habs are certainly in a nice position. If handled well they could end up with a great starter and a nice return at the deadline, or just carry these two all the way to the finals. Seeing Montreal go far this year wouldn't surprise me.

I don't think that we have to find a #1 now. We should be happy of having two #1 goalies instead of having two #2 goalies. Personnaly, I would keep both for the season. In the last years, Minneasota were having two great goalie too, and the system worked well!
